High Altitude Chamber Lab

Hello:

SAMI has scheduled the next 4 hour Altitude Impairment Recognition Review, non-endorsement session, for Thursday April 3 at 4pm here in Melbourne, Florida. A late dinner and transportation to the nearby Melbourne International Airport will be provided.

The open-enrollment AIR Review sessions are scheduled for the first Thursday of every month at 4pm through the end of the year. Additional sessions are scheduled on demand for schools/groups/ flight departments depending on volume.

The AIR Review will include a review of high altitude/hypoxia related issues with our physician AME staff, Altitude Chamber Lab (hypoxia and visual acuity - NO rapid decompression) plus a video debrief of the lab experience to illustrate signs & symptoms.

The cost is $295.00 per person. I have been asked if discounts are available for corporate flight departments and discounts are available depending on the number of pilots. Chief Pilots/Training Directors are invited as our guests to audit/observe the session as the chamber lab can generally be an important addition to ground school instruction for 61-31g. AIR Chamber Lab rates are lower for students enrolled in flight school.

Please visit our website at http://www.aeromedicalinstitute.com/Altitude_training.htm for information about the Spacecoast Aero Medical Institute or call me directly at 321.676.3200 110 to reserve seating or for inquiries - please bear in mind space is limited.
