I have produced, directed, designed, stage managed, and acted in over 100 productions! Theatre is my first love; I really enjoy interacting with an audience and working with actors. Click here for my Directing/ Teaching Resume or here for my Acting Resume.
For the last four years I have had the privilege of working for California Theatre Center (CTC), a professional theatre for children based in Sunnyvale CA.

Last summer we took a lively, musical adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow on a tour of the South Pacific.

This production featured CTC Advanced Conservatory students acting alongside the pros. It was an incredible experience for all.

Mystery By Design

I've had a wonderful relationship for several years with Katie and Fred Hassett of Mystery By Design; a fabulous, interactive murder mystery and dinner theatre. We perform "tailor-made" mysteries at private homes and parties, restaurants, hotels, yachts, and corporate events all over the Bay Area and beyond! Shows are performed year round at the Pacific Fresh Seafood Restaurant in Sunnyvale. Check out their new website for details!

Murder Takes a Holiday

Murder Scores a Touchdown was a really fun show; I played Pepper Ansault - a somewahat unscrupulous hillbilly who played the gutbucket, promoted his country singin' wifey, Sugar, and led the audience in cheers for the football teams of their choice! Some of the audience created cheers were down right nasty! (from left to right: Paula Hilton, writer and director Katie Hassett, Serena Gibson, Cynthia Harline, Me, Fred Hassett, Steve Schneickert, Michael Riley, and John Gibson)

Murder Takes a Holiday

The cast of Murder Takes a Holiday. I had a great time playing a slimey "Austin Powers-type" character - Phelan Moore, a cockney with an eye for the ladies. He got shot thru the heart and I enjoyed a long, melodramatic, stroll thru the audience before HE finally succumbed... a lively "horse race" featuring members of the audience made this show a real crowd pleaser! (from left to right: Manny Saiz, Me, Debby Wright, David and Pat White, and Greg Davis)

Big Lil's Cabaret
I was a Founding Member of Big Lils Cabaret in downtown San Jose; a rowdy and raucous melodrama and vaudeville show, it features a great barbecued chicken and rib dinner catered by Tony Roma's and a lot of audience participation! Call Lil for a good time tonight!

I've had a lot of fun over the years performing in Interactive Theatre... having spent nearly 20 years performing in Children's Theatre, Melodramas, Dinner Theatre, and Murder Mysteries, I know how to bring life into a crowded room and charm an audience. Be sure to check out my Clowning page!
